The Choice character was developed to be identifiable by people as a peer, not as a figure of authority. Choice needed to be “one of the group” and “cool” so that people would join with, not rebel against.
In particular, Choice is a figure that is appealing and can be remembered. Choice represents people regardless of race, color, creed or religion, whilst maintaining a non-judgmental and non-directive attitude.

"Hi, I’m Choice. Just like you really, someone enjoying life and having fun. To achieve some of my goals, I think carefully about the choices, actions and decisions I make and learn from my experiences, so I am aware of the consequences of my positive and negative choices, actions and decisions. This is not only for my benefit, but for my family, friends, colleagues and the community I live in. I play in many roles and by doing so hope you benefit from the awareness or activities that are available. You can read more about me and the different roles I play by going through the options in the menu above. You can also discover the various services we provide by visiting ChoiceChoice. May the Choice be with you." |
