Choice has a flexible approach to the people that participate in our programs. Our staff have many years of on-the-job training and experiences and are able to employ tried and proven methodologies and strategies to achieve positive results within the community, including:
- Work with children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, in foster care and or benefactors of government funded accommodation support. This includes children and young people involved with Queensland Juvenile Justice and Child Safety
- Programs for early school leavers & young people disengaged from mainstream education, learning and training
- Working with mature age people who have become lost along the way, who are at risk of becoming unemployed, are long term unemployed or under employed in the employment marketplace
- Assistance for parents and carers who desire to return to the work force
- Assistance for people who have physical or hidden disabilities
- Working with older people who desire to return to the work force
Stakeholders
In addition to the various people that participate on our programs and projects, we work closely with existing non-government organisations, agencies, State and Australian Government departments and the private sector.
Community
We seek participation and involvement in the programs and projects we deliver from the communities we serve. We recognise the overall benefit of our community engagement strategy for the participants, stakeholders & communities we serve.
