Participants...

Choice has a flexible approach to the people that participate in our programs. Our staff have many years of on-the-job experience and are able to employ tried and proven methodologies and strategies to achieve positive results with individuals and the community, including:

  1. Work with children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. This includes children and young people involved with Queensland Juvenile Justice
  2. Programs for early school leavers & young people disengaged from mainstream education, learning and training
  3. Working with mature age people who have become lost along the way, who are at risk of becoming long unemployed, are long term unemployed or under employed in the employment marketplace
  4. Assistance for parents and carers who desire to return to the work force
  5. Assistance for people who have physical or hidden disabilities
  6. Working with older Australians and assisting them to re-enter the workforce

Stakeholders and the Community...

In addition to the various demographics that participate on our programs and projects, we work closely with existing non-government organisations, agencies, Queensland and Australian Government departments and the private sector. We seek participation and involvement in the programs and projects we deliver from the communities we serve. We recognise the overall benefit of our community engagement strategy for the participants, stakeholders & the community.

Funding...

Choice operates through successfully tendering for services that best align to our constitutional aims and objectives. We also engage the community to become involved via the provision of in-kind and financial support from local businesses, private enterprise and corporate Australians.
